Personal Fitness Audit
The ability to quantify your current fitness level, identify physical and structural imbalances, and measure progress, begins with the establishing of base levels.
There are four components to overall physical fitness:
1. Cardiovascular Fitness: Measures the heart, lungs and vascular systems’ ability to provide oxygen to the working muscles.
2. Muscular strength and endurance: Measures the body’s ability to handle strenuous physical tasks.
Personal Fitness Audit
3. Flexibility: Measures the tendon, ligament, and muscles ability to allow the body to perform through its full range of motion.
4. Body Composition: Measures the body’s percentages of fat and lean muscle tissue. A key factor in overall health and risk of disease.
The Terwilliger Fitness comprehensive personal fitness audit measures all the above components plus body mass index,
health risk assessment and body weight.
A printed assessment complete with goals and
recommendations is then provided for each client.
Follow up assessments are recommended every 4-6 weeks.
Sports Physiology Assessment
We also offer a sports-specific flexibility, muscle balance and core strength assessment. This assessment is
for anyone involved in recreational sports activity or plans on beginning one. It identifies structural
weakness that can lead to injuries. The assessment is followed by recommendations to correct
imbalances and weaknesses so you can excel in your performance.
